We had a really poor experience here, and I'm really not sure if it was a fluke or what. I'll start off by saying it was the waitress's first day, which is understandable. But really there is only so much we can let slide.

We walked in and sat down. It took five minutes for the waitress to approach us then ten minutes until we actually got our water. After we got our water, a group of people that walked in got their drinks in a timely manner. My boyfriend's water was fine, but mine had a really weird taste. I'm not talking faucet taste, I'm talking like some kind of food. Oddly citrus flavored but you could tell it was not on purpose (dish water maybe???), I did not touch the water for the remainder of the dinner and the waitress did not notice.

MKy boyfriend ordered a Turkish coffee. The coffee came fifteen minutes after the water. We both must confess that we have not had Turkish coffee before so if we are incorrect here, our bad. But first of all, it looked nothing like a googled description of picture of Turkish coffee. No foam or anything, just flat. Second of all, it smelled also strangely fruity and lemon-y? Which makes no sense right? Then there was the taste. It tasted truly like poison. We know it is suppose to be a thick coffee, but there had to have been something wrong. Who knows.

45-50 minutes after getting our water, we finally got our food. We had ordered combination platters of basically all their kabobs they had to offer. Maybe that was our mistake, maybe we should have just should ordered euros and left it at that. Even though kabob is in their name. Anyway, it's not like the meal was BAD but the mean was SOSOSOSO overcooked, it was almost inedible. It would take a full minute to chew the lamb. The chicken was the most tolerable, but still again very very very chewy. I had to rely on the sauce they gave us to give any flavor to the beef whatsoever to get it down my throat.

Then it came with a soup. which I should also mention, wasn't terrrrrible, epr say. But it was also just not something I would ever want to eat. It tasted like tomato soup with absolutely no flavoring at all. It was basically the blandest tomato soup you've ever had with pees and corn in it. I'm a girl who loves soup. In general, it's one of my favorite foods. But I did not bother eating this as there was so little flavor, there was no point.

The point is, this meal came out to be around 50 dollars, including a tip. If it were me paying and not my boyfriend I would have asked for someone and told them there is no way I'm paying that much for this terrible meal. Maybe this whole event was a fluke for this place. Maybe you should only go there if you're getting euros. Maybe I should have told my boyfriend to wait in the car while I told them the multitudes of disappointments they made us endure. We could have gotten better food at Sodexo.
